The goal of service learning at Lourdes University is to provide experiences that benefit the broader civic community and enhance student learning. “The students and I enjoyed assisting the Padua Center with this important work. COBAL focuses on preparing students to be 21st century leaders who understand the importance of ethics and integrity and the role they play in the marketplace,” says Jonathan Boyle, MBA, COBAL Instructor.

Students enrolled in BUS 333 Management Concepts and BUS 344 Marketing Concepts worked with the Padua Center administration and were afforded the opportunity to integrate outreach experiences into their academic course content. Lourdes students assisted the organization on Earth Day and provided a Field Day for Padua Center’s after school program.
